2015-16 were truly years of transformation for me. In the past two years I have lost 300+ lbs through lifestyle changes in diet and exercise. Along the process I have stood on the Word that God would restore my health speedily. God has been absolutely faithful to his word. Since about 11 years old I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and was said to be pre-diabetic. I also had many other health challenges that come from being overweight. About 6 months ago my doctor gave me a clean bill of health, said I no longer needed blood pressure medicine and could manage any threat of diabetes with healthy living. That is such a blessing.

KRC has also been a huge blessing. Along the journey someone asked me as I approached my weight loss goal what was I going to do to stay committed to the healthy lifestyle. That question bothered me because I did not have an answer. But last October when KRC mounted the pulpit the Holy Spirit dropped it in me that this is it, if I commit to running a half or full marathon a year I would also be committing to long term healthy living. So I took the leap of faith and registered even though at an early age I was diagnosed with Blounts disease which is a leg deformity and while that might appear to be a limitation for running I believed with God all things are possible and this year I completed my first of hopefully many half marathons.

I’m extremely excited and grateful to God! The word of God says Beloved I wish above all that you prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers.  So I would love to challenge you to do like I did take the leap of faith and join KRC and you will get more out of it than you could even imagine.
