The desire for more of the word led me to Living Word last year. Pastor stated that the kingdom running club will be running a marathon next Sunday. I thought to myself a running club yes this is where I’m supposed to be.
My family was worried at first. Because 2015 marks 20 years since my heart surgery and five years since I had a brain tumor removed.

I understood their concerns because I do have a tube in my brain and wires in my chest. But the Bible says that the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives on the inside of me! And that I can do all things through Christ who gives me the strength. And the same God who healed me and continues to make ways out of no way, will help me run in this marathon. And that’s exactly what He did!

I laid aside every weight and negative thought and finished my ran, within a good time, in Jesus name!
